Riding the Spring Creek Loop may be the best part of staying at Cody Horse Camp. This fun 14-mile loop showcases the lovely forest and meadows south of the horse camp.
The Ride
You'll enjoy a fabulous view of Mt. Adams. (This photo was taken on a smoky day.)
You'll visit the expansive Midway Meadows, where you and your horse can both enjoy a leisurely lunch.
You'll travel through old-growth forest,
through younger stands of Douglas-firs,
and through mixed-conifer forests with huckleberries and bear grass in the understory.
The trail will even take you past Keenes Horse Camp. Don't miss this fun ride!
